Raised in Toronto for most of his life, Dr. Christian Raharja completed his Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto, where he was involved in a wide range of clubs and groups which included the New College Student Council, University of Toronto Student Union, New College Capella Group, University College Dragonboat Club, University of Toronto Culinary Art’s Club, International Health Program, as well as being an Orientation Chair for the Michener Institute. Continuing his passion for extracurricular activities while attending the Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Fl, he was part of the Ocular Disease, Contact Lens, Low Vision, and SVOSH clubs while also serving as a Student Ambassador, a position given to students who excelled clinically and academically. In his spare time, Dr. Raharja enjoys fitness related activities such as running races, weight lifting and paddling as well as cooking up a storm in the kitchen or singing his heart out in karaoke.

Dr. Raharja is board certified in both Canada and USA, and his affiliations include the College of Optometrists of Ontario, Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO) and Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO). He is bilingual, speaking English and Indonesian and has aspirations of learning Mandarin. His interests center around vision therapy, dry eyes and ocular disease management.
