Comprehensive Eye Exams in North York

• Eye health exam. Routine comprehensive eye care exams can help assess a list of symptoms and diagnose a range of diseases and eye issues before they become a serious concern. Please note that OHIP covers a free annual eye exam for all children (19 and under) and seniors (65+) in Ontario.
• OCT Eye Exam & Test: OCT (optical coherence tomography eye exam) is a non-invasive imaging that produces pictures of the back of the eye specifically the layers of your retina using reflected light. This highly specialised testing is commonly used to diagnose glaucoma and diabetes-related retinopathy among other eye diseases i.e., age-related macular degeneration, macular hole, macular pucker, cystoid macular edema, and tumors in the retina and choroid.
• Student Eye Exams: We offer eye exams specifically for post-secondary, university and college students in North York. The eyes are critical for everyday life and studying. At Kodak Lens Vision Centre, we offer discounted comprehensive eye health exams for students as well as discounted eyewear packages. Kindergarten students in participating school regions are also supported. With programs like Eye See…Eye Learn®, Kodak Lens Vision Centre can offer comprehensive eye exams to junior kindergarten students in North York. The eye exams are covered by OHIP when you show your child’s health card.
• Farnsworth D15: This is a special color vision test for assessing colour blindness through a special colour arrangement test.
• Comprehensive OVA Test: Ocular-visual assessment includes complete comprehensive eye examinations including eyeglass prescription updates and ocular health assessment. However, OVA doesn’t include contact lens exams, or myopia control among other special services.
