Dr. Lisa Tran

Optometrist

  • Doctor of Optometry degree, University of Waterloo
  • Extensive clinical ocular disease training in Parkland Hospital Ophthalmology Clinic in Dallas, Texas and in Kitchener, Ontario
  • Traveled to Peru with VOSH International and to Mexico with I-Care International on volunteer mission trips to provide eye care to the underprivileged in rural areas
  • Member of Ontario Association of Optometrists, Canadian Association of Optometrists and the College of Optometrist of Ontario
Dr. Tran graduated from University of Toronto with Honours Bachelors of Science in Human Biology and went on to pursue her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. In addition to seeing patients of all ages, Dr. Tran’s clinical interests include fitting contact lenses, dry eye management, prevention, management and treatment of ocular diseases. She also works closely with many Toronto area Ophthalmologists, who specialize in cataract surgery, glaucoma and the diseases of the cornea and retina, by co-managing and providing pre-operative and post-operative care. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and spending quality time with friends and family.
