Cozy Holiday Gifts for Youth
from REST Centres
This holiday season, Rest Centres is on a mission to bring warmth and cheer to youth experiencing homelessness in Peel Region. As a Black-led, BIPOC-serving organization, Rest Centres provides vital support and transitional housing for at-risk youth. To brighten the holidays, they’re looking for cozy PJs, winter clothing, and gift cards to help young people feel cared for and supported. Let’s rally together to make this season a little brighter and warmer for Rest Centres’ youth!
Filling Stockings with Joy
Youth Without Shelter (YWS) is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive environment for youth facing homelessness across Brampton and the GTA. Every December, YWS makes the holidays special with personalized stockings filled with essentials and goodies for each young person. This year, they’re looking for items like cozy sweaters, leggings, bed sheets, and personal hygiene products to bring comfort and holiday cheer. A small gift can mean the world to these resilient youth, so let’s help fill their stockings with warmth and love this season!
Keep the Meals Rolling
Brampton Meals on Wheels has been delivering nutritious meals—and a whole lot of smiles—to community members since 1963! With over 70 dedicated volunteers driving more than 40,000 meals each year, these volunteers bring more than just food; they bring comfort, companionship, and peace of mind to families. Right now, they need gas gift cards to keep these amazing volunteers on the road. Every tank of gas helps keep Brampton Meals on Wheels rolling, so let’s come together and make it happen!
Because you’re a part of the Kodak Lens family of customers or fans! We want you to have a say in where our charitable contribution is allocated.
How do you pick the needs?
We partner with Troop, a social enterprise in Toronto to select the local needs we share with you. Troop is on a mission to build communities where basic needs don’t go unmet and we’re joining the mission.
Can I share a need for a local charity?
Yes! If you work with a charity or non-profit and you think they would benefit from sharing their needs with local businesses and customers, you can email the Troop team here: hello@hitroop.com.
