Scrubbing Away Hunger

from 5N2

The worst part of cooking any meal is cleaning up after, right? Well, at least having the right supplies can make the job a little easier. The folks at 5N2 Food For All in Scarborough work tirelessly to provide nutritious meals for those who need them most. But here’s the thing…to whip up these meals, they need a sparkling kitchen. 5N2 is in need of cleaning and sanitation supplies not just to get rid of grime, but to continue their mission of making sure no neighbour goes hungry!

Support Weekend Nutrition

from Food4Kids Toronto

Food4Kids Toronto is on a mission to ensure that over 100 youth in Scarborough have access to nutritious food, even when school isn’t in session. Every week, they send food packages home with kids to bridge the gap over the weekend. What began in Hamilton and Halton has now expanded to six regions, providing support in a way that respects each child’s dignity. With the busy back-to-school season here, they need help to meet the growing demand for these essential food packages. Your support can make sure more children in Scarborough receive the nourishment they need for a healthier, brighter future.

Toys for Holiday Cheer

from Julliette’s Place

Everyone deserves a little holiday cheer! Juliette’s Place provides a safe shelter for women and children in Scarborough who have experienced domestic violence. They’re gearing up for the holiday toy drive to bring some cheer to the kiddos they serve. The holidays can be tough, but a special toy can light up a child’s world. Let’s make the holidays brighter together!

Why am I seeing this?

Because you’re a part of the Kodak Lens family of customers or fans! We want you to have a say in where our charitable contribution is allocated.

How do you pick the needs?

We partner with Troop, a social enterprise in Toronto to select the local needs we share with you. Troop is on a mission to build communities where basic needs don’t go unmet and we’re joining the mission.

Can I share a need for a local charity?

Yes! If you work with a charity or non-profit and you think they would benefit from sharing their needs with local businesses and customers, you can email the Troop team here: hello@hitroop.com.
