Then, when you want to get in touch on the go, you simply press the button on your glasses.

POV / VIDEO CALLING

A unique way to call and share your point of view hands-free. A double-press on your glasses during a video call will activate the glasses camera. POV Video calling lets you share your unique point of view with others in real-time on WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram video calls. If you’re biking, running or hiking, you can put your phone away and go hands-free while continuing to share video in real-time.

LIVE TRANSLATION

With live translation, you can have a conversation with someone who speaks another language and hear translations in real time between French, Italian, Spanish and English. Translations play back through the open ear speakers on your glasses and are viewable as a transcript on the Meta AI app. It’s great when exploring trails in new countries and connecting with local athletes.

To start, say “Hey Meta, start live translation” or indicate directly from your Meta AI app. Live translation does not require network or internet connectivity. Simply download a language pack before you go and you can use it while traveling.

CHARGING CASE BATTERY & ACCESSORIES

Your Oakley Meta glasses and charging case have different charge lifecycles. Fully charged Oakley Meta Vanguard glasses can get you up to 9 hours of battery based on typical customer use (mixed-use) or 6 hours of continuous audio playback or voice calling. This may vary with use and other factors.

CHARGING CASE
You can carry the durable case in your sports bag so you can achieve an additional 36 hours of charging on the go. Need more power in a hurry?

You can choose to use an existing Meta account or create a new one using email, Facebook or Instagram login.

1. PRIVACY SETTINGS: Easy to access settings let you view and manage the information you share with Meta. Meta collects data needed to help make your glasses and app reliable, secure, and operating normally, and you can choose to share additional data to improve the experience.
2. VOICE CONTROLS PRIVACY: You have the option to enable voice commands when you set up your glasses, and can turn it off any time you want. Voice controls are easy to set up and you can choose whether to store voice recordings and activity logs.
3. CAPTURE LED: The Capture LED light lets people know when you’re capturing content or going live. If the LED is covered, you’ll be notified to clear it.
